Jason Hardwick Promoted to District 20 Supervisor in Division of Probation & Parole

Kentucky Department of Corrections Director of Probation & Parole Tim Carman today announced the promotion of Jason Hardwick to supervisor of District 20 in Somerset. District 20 encompasses eight counties including Clinton, Lincoln, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Russell, Wayne and Whitley.

“Jason has a proven record of integrity which is needed for a position of leadership,” said Carman. “We have every confidence that he will continue to be a great asset to the division and department in this leadership position.”

Hardwick began his career with the Department of Corrections in May 2001 as a probation and parole officer in Somerset. In January 2007, he was promoted to the assistant supervisor position in District 10. During his tenure with the department, he has served as a trainer for motivational interviewing and serves on the Community Corrections Board.

Hardwick is a 1998 graduate of Lindsey Wilson College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He is also a 2007 graduate of the Commissioner’s Executive Leadership Program.
