Chris Patterson Promoted to Deputy Warden at Bell County Forestry Camp
Kentucky Department of Corrections Deputy Commissioner James Erwin today announced that Chris Patterson has been promoted to deputy warden at the Bell County Forestry Camp (BCFC) in Pineville. Patterson will assume his new duties Dec. 16.
“Chris Patterson is a dedicated employee with more than 13 years of experience who has promoted through the ranks from officer to captain,” said Erwin. “He has a wealth of knowledge in the field of security and will be a real asset to the Bell County Forestry Camp.”
Patterson began his career with the Department of Corrections in April 2000 as a correctional officer at Northpoint Training Center. He transferred to BCFC in April 2001. He promoted through the ranks at BCFC achieving the rank of sergeant in 2007, lieutenant in 2009 and captain in 2012.
Patterson was also the recipient the department’s achievement award for BCFC in both 2004 and 2013.
