Caudill Promoted to Supervisor in P&P District 15

 Frankfort, KY – Kentucky Department of Corrections’ Director of the Division of Probation and Parole Lelia VanHoose today announced the promotion of Bill Caudill to District 15 Supervisor. The district encompasses Bracken, Mason, Fleming, Lewis, Greenup, Boyd, Carter, Elliott, Morgan, Lawrence, Martin and Johnson counties in eastern Kentucky.

     “Bill Caudill is an excellent employee and very deserving of this career opportunity,” said VanHoose. “His experience in previous management and leadership positions will be invaluable as we institute operations in this new district.”

      Caudill began his career in Corrections in September 1995 as a probation and parole officer in the Pikeville office. He transferred to the Prestonsburg office in 1997. He is a graduate of Morehead State University with an associate’s degree in corrections and a bachelor’s degree in sociology with an emphasis in criminology.  Caudill completed the Department of Corrections Commissioner's Executive Leadership Program in April 2006.

      He is an adjunct professor at Big Sandy Community and Technical College at the Prestonsburg and Pikeville campuses teaching Introduction to Corrections. He and his wife Sharon currently live in Floyd County but will be moving to the Ashland area.
