Media Advisory: State’s Adoptive Families to Be Honored at Reception; Nine families to receive awards

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Nov. 1, 2007)  -- The Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) will honor nine adoptive families from across the state at a ceremony and reception celebrating “forever families” this week.

Speakers include cabinet leadership and an adult adoptee. Two adoptive parents will also provide musical and comedy entertainment.

To reach the Frankfort Country Club from I-64, take exit 58 toward Frankfort. Turn left onto US 60. Turn right onto Country Lane, then make a slight right onto Duntreath Street.
