FRANKFORT, Ky. (May 5, 2009) The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) notified the Kentucky Department for Public Health (DPH) today that a case of H1N1 swine flu has been confirmed in a young man from Daviess County. This marks the state's second confirmed case of H1N1.
Specimens from Kentucky's four remaining probable cases—in the Barren River Health District, Fayette County, Montgomery County and Hardin County—are still pending at CDC.
