| Lieutenant Governor Pence makes quick recovery
Frankfort, KY: Lieutenant Governor Steve Pence returned to work in Frankfort today after undergoing hip replacement surgery on July 31st at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Pence is expected to make a full recovery.
“I am anxious to get back to work on a full-time basis for the people of Kentucky,” said Lieutenant Governor Pence. “I want to thank Dr. Arthur Malkani for performing a successful surgery. I want to also thank everyone for their kind words, thoughts and prayers during my recovery.”
Pence broke his right leg in a skiing accident in 1982. The residual from that injury worsened over the past year, requiring the surgery.
