Governor Fletcher Announces Transportation Funding for Taylor Mill
$193,500 investment will improve safety on Reidlin Road
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Construction crews will soon be hard-at-work repairing two sections of Reidlin Road in Taylor Mill.
Governor Ernie Fletcher was in Taylor Mill on Saturday for the city’s 50th anniversary celebration. During remarks to local residents and community leaders, the Governor presented a ceremonial check for $193,500 in municipal bond funds. The funding will be used for slip repair work.
“Transportation infrastructure is a vital part of every community,” said Governor Fletcher. “This funding reinforces my commitment to improving the highway network around our state and is a prime example of how we are working together to build stronger communities.”
Reidlin Road serves as a connector route for Mason Road and Grand Avenue, which is a major east-to-west artery in the northern part of Taylor Mill. By repairing the slip problems, drivers will be able to consistently use the route to get through the city.
