Secretary Robbie Rudolph Speaks at Grand Opening of Expanded Solectron Facility in Louisville
Expansion of company enables growth, enhances partnership with Kentucky
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher’s Executive Cabinet Secretary Robbie Rudolph was in Louisville today to speak at the grand opening of Solectron Global Services’ expanded facility. The expansion of the Solectron site will enable the technology company to facilitate faster turn-around in meeting customer service requirements and enable continued growth. Sen. Jim Bunning also participated in the event.

The Solectron company provides electronics product design, manufacturing and aftermarket service and support for major global technology brands. Solectron has more than 50,000 employees worldwide and operations in 20 countries.
Solectron Global Services is the company’s after-market services division. It is the world’s largest provider of warranty repair, asset recovery, parts management and end-of-product life support for computing, data storage, mobile phones, networking and telecommunications equipment companies. Louisville is the largest site in the Solectron Global Services network.
