FRANKFORT, Ky. - Governor Ernie Fletcher is eating and resting well today, and he remains in good spirits - despite watching UK's loss in the SEC Tournament this afternoon.

The Governor remains hospitalized at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, where he was admitted Thursday after discovery of a blood clot in his upper extremity.

The Governor ate a barbeque sandwich and mashed potatoes today - and he even ate his broccoli. He has been up and walking while he awaits adjustment of his blood thinner.

The Governor could return home Sunday, but will likely return to Frankfort on Monday.

Earlier today, Governor Fletcher received a much-welcomed call from President George W. Bush, who spoke to the Governor to wish him a speedy recovery.
