Frankfort, KY: Governor Ernie Fletcher announced today he will appoint the Honorable Timothy Edward Feeley to the office of Circuit Judge, Family Court, 12th Judicial Circuit, Division 2, Henry, Oldham, and Trimble Counties.
Tim Feeley currently serves as a state representative for the 59th district, representing Oldham County and a portion of Jefferson County in the Kentucky House of Representatives. Because of this responsibility, his appointment to the office of Circuit Judge will be made official following adjournment of the 2005 legislative session of the General Assembly.
“Tim Feeley’s legal experience and tenure in the Kentucky General Assembly are well suited for the bench. I am confident he will be an outstanding Family Court Circuit Judge,” said Governor Fletcher.
Tim Feeley has practiced private law since 1996, concentrating mostly on civil matters for individuals and small businesses. From 1989 to 1996, he served as Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky. Feeley was also a Judge Advocate General office in the U.S. Army from 1985 to 1989.
“I have coupled my legal experience with public service; in the Army and in the Kentucky General Assembly. I am honored to accept this appointment; which will allow me to continue serving the people of Kentucky. ” said Tim Feeley.
