Richard R. Knock is Appointed by Governor Fletcher  

Frankfort, KY: Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed Richard R. Knock of Union, Kentucky, to the Kenton County Airport Board Advisory Committee. Mr. Knock will be replacing Mark D. Guilfoyle, who resigned from the Committee.

Richard R. Knock is the President, Chairman, and CEO for Knock Investments of Union, Kentucky.  Mr. Knock served as the immediate past chairman on the Cumberland College Board of Trustees; a Commissioner for the Boone County Planning and Zoning Commission; the President and Director for the Scottish Rite Foundation; an Honorary Director for Cardinal Hill of Northern Kentucky; the Chairman of the Knock Family Foundation, Inc.; a Commissioner for Tallstacks, Inc. of Cincinnati, Ohio; and was the Chairman of the Finance Committee for the Geoff Davis for Congress Campaign.

“The International Airport is a vital component of the economy of Northern Kentucky,” said Governor Ernie Fletcher.  “I believe Dick Knock has the qualities that serve its vision well.”

“I am excited about the appointment and I am honored by Governor Fletcher’s confidence in me,” Knock said.  “I believe my business experience and community involvement gives me an insight that will serve me in advancing the Governor’s vision through this appointment.”

Knock is married to JoAnn Knock and they have six adult children and seven grandchildren.

The Kenton County Airport Board Advisory Committee consists of one gubernatorial appointee.  The main focus of the Committee is to oversee the operations and roles of the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
