Jefferson County Realtor to Assume Post

Frankfort, KY: Governor Ernie Fletcher announced today the appointment of Louisville resident John T. May to the position of Property Valuation Administrator for Jefferson County, Kentucky.

 John T. May, a realtor and appraiser, is a part owner of John May and Associates, Inc., a family-owned real estate firm, which serves clients and customers throughout the Greater Louisville area.  The firm concentrates on single and multifamily appraisals, property management and brokerage
 
“I am confident that John May’s extensive background in realty and property appraisal will enable him to be a knowledgeable property valuation administrator for Jefferson County,” said Governor Ernie Fletcher.

May is a past President of the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors, of which he has been a member since 1987.  Mr. May graduated from the University of Louisville in 1987.  John and his wife, Shellie, are proud parents of eight year-old triplets.  His appointment is effective immediately.

 The former PVA, Denise Harper Angel, held the post for the previous fifteen years before being elected to the State Senate in November.
