Frankfort, KY: If you haven’t voted yet for Kentucky’s new brand, time is just about to run out on you.

"We want to encourage everyone who hasn’t yet voted in this final round to do so now, before this weekend’s deadlines,” said Governor Ernie Fletcher.  “Be a part of history.  Help us decide which brand will represent Kentucky for years to come.”

Votes will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. Sunday online at www.kentucky.gov/brand, and in person at all state welcome centers, state resort parks, the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, the Kentucky Artisan Center in Berea, and the Kentucky History Center in Frankfort.  Hand-written votes may also be mailed to Brand Kentucky, Kentucky State Capitol, 700 Capitol Avenue, Frankfort, KY 40601. Mailed votes must be postmarked no later than Friday (Nov. 19).

Through three rounds of voting that began Oct. 26, nearly 50,000 ballots have been cast, including more than 10,000 during Round Three.

In the first round, “Kentucky – Limitless” was eliminated. “Kentucky – Make History” was eliminated in the second round, leaving the public with two choices: “Kentucky – Where Legends Are Born” and “Kentucky – Unbridled Spirit.”

The brand will be used to help unify Kentucky’s overall marketing effort. The new brand will be unveiled next Wednesday; details of the announcement are forthcoming.

Find out more about the brand process and view the brands with their logos at www.kentucky.gov/brand.
