R.G. Toler of Winchester and Charles Martin of Wickliffe Appointed by Governor Fletcher; James Rich of Taylor Mill Reappointed

Frankfort, KY: Governor Ernie Fletcher announced today the appointment of R.G. Toler of Winchester and Charles Martin of Wickliffe to the Fish and Wildlife Resources Commission. The Governor also announced the reappointment of Dr. James Rich of Taylor Mill to the Commission.

R.G. Toler is currently employed by Alcoa in Winchester and serves on the East Clark County Water District. Toler is a member of the National Turkey Federation and National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association. Charles Martin is the Director of Field Services for USEC, Inc. Martin is a former Deputy Secretary of the Kentucky Natural resources Cabinet, and has also served as an Environmental Scientist for the U.S. Department of Energy at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant. Martin has undergraduate and graduate degrees from Murray State University in Environmental Sciences. Dr. Rich is a veteran of the Commission, having served as a member for the past 12 years. Rich is a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and Ducks Unlimited.

The Fish and Wildlife Resources Commission is a nine-member board which oversees and advises the operations of the Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, including budget issues, hunting and fishing season dates, and various regulations pertaining to the conservation of hunting, fishing and wildlife resources. The Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources is attached to the Commerce Cabinet.
