| New, Direct Line Installed at 502-564- 9551
Frankfort, KY: Governor Fletcher’s office has installed an updated TDD (Telecommunications Device for the Deaf) with a direct line for deaf or hard of hearing constituents. Constituents may now call 502-564-9551 for TDD services.
“Being accessible to each and every constituent is very important to me and my staff,” said Governor Ernie Fletcher. “By installing this new telecommunications device, we will be able to reach out to more people and meet their needs.”
Dr. Bobbie Beth Scoggins, Executive Director of the Kentucky Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, states “I applaud this effort from the Governor’s Office in making his office accessible to everyone, regardless of disability. The installation of a TDD in the office will greatly enhance direct access to his office for the deaf and hard of hearing – especially those who do not have computers with high speed connections and still must rely on phone service. I greatly encourage the deaf and hard of hearing community to utilize this tool to let Governor Fletcher know of any issues or concerns that you may have.”
