Governor Ernie Fletcher appoints member to the Commission for Children with Special Health Care Needs
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed Marisa E. Greer, of Corbin, to the Commission for Children with Special Health Care Needs.
Greer, a registered nurse, was a nursing instructor for five years before recently accepting a position with Corbin Independent Schools. She received an associate’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University. She is a member of the National League of Nursing and is married to Darrell E. Greer.
The Commission on Children with Special Health Care Needs is made up of seven gubernatorial appointees. The commission advocates the rights of children with disabilities and provides services and facilities for children with disabilities.
