Governor Ernie Fletcher makes appointments to the State Board for Proprietary Education

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Ernie Fletcher has appointed Pete A. Poldo, of Lexington, and reappointed Christopher A. St. John, of Somerset, to the State Board for Proprietary Education.

Poldo works with Logistics and Freight Transportation for Vascor LTD. Poldo is currently pursuing a master’s of business administration, and is a member of the John Brown University Alumni Association and the United Latin American Citizens.  He is married to Janice Poldo.              

St. John is a pastor for Eagle Heights Church and a graduate of Baptist Bible College. He is married to Maranda St. John.

The State Board for Proprietary Education is made up of 11 gubernatorial appointees.  The board administers the provisions of law that pertain to the conduct, operation, maintenance and establishment of proprietary education institutions within the commonwealth.
