Statement from Attorney General Jack Conway

"For those of us who work every day to protect consumers, it is welcome news that the Mobile Informational Call Act of 2011 (H.R. 3035) is now dead. As my fellow attorneys general and I stated in a letter last week to Congress, this measure was an assault on Americans' privacy and would dilute our ability to protect consumers. I am pleased that our concerns, and the concerns of countless citizens across the country, have been heard loud and clear."
