Attorney General Jack Conway and his Office of Consumer Protection are hosting an "AG in Your Town" event at the Lexington Senior Center, 1530 Nicholasville Rd., on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 4:30 p.m.

"Through our 'AG in Your Town' events, my staff and I are able to provide immediate assistance to consumers who often feel help is out of their reach," General Conway said. "We work with consumers to resolve their complaints with debt collection, credit, auto repair or purchase problems, billing issues, service complaints, telemarketing scams and other consumer complaints."

Participants are asked to bring copies of their documents and any other information that may be helpful when speaking with office staff. If they wish, consumers can complete a complaint form obtained online at www.ag.ky.gov/consumers prior to the event or complete a form on site.

Attorney General Conway will host another "AG in Your Town" event on Thursday, Sept. 29 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Boyd County Public Library (Kyova Branch) in Ashland. General Conway kicked off his new consumer protection initiative in July in Paducah. Additional dates and locations will be announced in the coming weeks.

If you need additional information about the event, visit www.ag.ky.gov or call 1-888-432-9257.
