WHAT:           $1million check from the Community Development Block Grant will be presented to Bowling Green Mayor Jones for the Lee Square Housing Project.

WHEN:           Thursday, June 10, 2004
                        10:30 am (central time)

WHERE:        On site of the housing project, the corner of 2nd and State Street in Bowling Green.  In case of inclement weather the location will be moved to City Hall.       

WHY:              The City of Bowling Green proposes to purchase property to develop affordable housing.  The CDBG funds will be used to purchase the land and pay relocation.
