Office of the Attorney General Announces Random Drawing of Counties for Post-Election Audits
On Thursday, June 7th at 10 a.m. in Capitol Room 114, six counties will be chosen in a random drawing to undergo independent inquiries for any potential irregularities that may have occurred during the May 22, 2007 primary election.
The post-election audits, which are required by law, will be conducted by the Office of the Attorney General. In each county, these routine inquiries include checking election forms and interviewing county officials.
Media is invited to attend the drawing.
