Attorney General Stumbo Asks Public Service Commission to Place Conditions on Kentucky-American’s Proposed New Facilities and Pipeline
Attorney General Greg Stumbo filed documents today generally supporting Kentucky-American’s request to build a new treatment plant and pipeline from Frankfort. However, he has requested that the Public Service Commission, which is reviewing the issue, place conditions on the approval.
“My office has asked that the costs for the project be capped, that the company be required to hire a qualified conservation consultant, and that the company file a new supply and demand management plan when the new plant is up and running,” said Stumbo.
Kentucky-American serves over 118,000 customers in 11 counties.
