Louisville CVB offers "Build Your Own" Vacation Packages
To enhance its one-stop shopping feature, the Greater Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau has launched a “Build Your Own” vacation package.
Traditionally, the bureau has offered pre-packaged vacations such as the Family Adventure Package, which includes four tickets to each of the following: the Louisville Science Center, the Louisville Slugger Museum and the Louisville Zoo, along with the choice of hotel accommodations. The pre-packaged options are still available, but customers can now customize their own packages to meet their individual interests and budgets.
“Our visitors will truly enjoy the flexibility this new functionality allows on our packaging web site when choosing a weekend adventure in Louisville,” said Jim Wood, president and CEO of the bureau. “We think we have one of the most innovative and comprehensive sites in the country and this new feature sets us apart from other cities.”
This functionality was created and designed specifically for the bureau, which is only the second city in the country to use this technology.
