JAMESTOWN, Ky. – The boat launching ramp at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park will be temporarily closed starting Jan. 22 due to construction work.

A portion of the road to the ramp is being moved because of rock falls. Barriers will also be added to keep rocks from covering the road. Signs will be posted during the construction period, which is expected to last about 60 days.

Boaters may be able to use another nearby ramp, Holcomb’s Landing, on the north side of Wolf Creek Dam. Work is underway at the parking lot there but the ramp is open.
