General Butler State Resort Park To Host Wild Game Night Aug. 4

CARROLLTON, Ky.General Butler State Resort Park in Carrollton will sponsor a Kentucky Wild Game Night on Aug. 4 at the park conference center.

 

The buffet will feature Rocky Mountain Elk, buffalo, wild turkey and quail. Tickets are $19.95 plus tax for adults and $9.95 for children 12 years old and under. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the park lodge or the night of the event at the conference center.

 

The buffet will be served 5-9 p.m.

 

Several organizations will have displays and speakers during the evening. They include the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Wild Turkey and Quail foundations, Jenny Wiley State Resort Park and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources.

 

General Butler features a lodge, cottages, Two Rivers Restaurant, hiking trails, mountain biking trail, the historic Butler-Turpin Home, campground, lodge swimming pool, 9-hole golf course, mini golf and gift shop.
