Historical Dinner Theater Series Starts Jan. 27 At Cumberland Falls
CORBIN, Ky. – Cumberland Falls State Resort Park is offering guests a chance to learn about the lives of famous Kentuckians with its Historical Dinner Theater Series that begins Jan. 27.
The series presents characters from the Kentucky Chautauqua program, which is sponsored by the Kentucky Humanities Council. The Jan. 27 program will feature Dr. Thomas Walker, pioneer physician and an early explorer of Kentucky. He’s portrayed by Danny Hinton.
Guests can enjoy dinner at the Riverview Restaurant before the show from 5-8 p.m.; the show will start at 8 p.m. in the Blair Building. Tickets for dinner and the show are $25 per person. Tickets for the complete series are available for $85. The other three shows in the series are: “Adolph Rupp, the Coach,” on March 17; “Price Hollowell, Black Patch War Hero,” on Aug. 18; and “Henry Clay, Kentucky’s Great Statesman,” on Nov. 10.
