Evening Cruise Along Lake Barkley Offered Oct. 24

CADIZ, Ky. -- Lake Barkley State Resort Park is hosting an evening cruise Oct. 24 for a beautiful view of fall colors and sunset along the shoreline of Lake Barkley.

 

The 2 ½ hour cruise will begin at 4:30 p.m.  Pre-registration is required for this Saturday evening cruise. Admission is $20/person (cash only) payable upon boarding.  For information or to register, call 1-800-325-1708. This event is sponsored by the Friends of Lake Barkley State Resort Park.

 

The crew will provide lifejackets. Guests should bring along jacket for this trip, which will also include the moon rise. The cruise will be held aboard “The Fishing Lady,” a 90-foot luxury motor yacht.

Lake Barkley is the largest state resort park in Kentucky and features a lodge, cottages, the Windows on the Water Restaurant, horseback riding, a seasonal campground, 18-hole golf course, fitness center (with indoor pool and more), marina, fishing, tennis courts, hiking/biking trails, gift shop, and recreational and nature programming.  The park is located at 3500 State Park Road in Cadiz.  From I-24, take the Highway 68 exit west toward Cadiz.
