White Hall State Historic Site Antique Fair On June 6

Richmond, Ky. -- Find that precious treasure among a park full of history and beauty!  Attend the 2nd Annual Antique Fair sponsored by the White Hall-Clermont Foundation at White Hall State Historic Site near Richmond.

 

The $5 gate fee includes admission to the antique fair as well as a tour of the White Hall mansion.  Children 12 and under are admitted free.

 

On site appraisals will be available for $5 per item, with a limit of three items.  No books, fabric, jewelry, stamps or coins.  The Happy Hoe-ers Garden Club will be selling plants and garden accessories to raise funds for the expansion and care of White Hall’s gardens.  Interested vendors should contact White Hall at (859) 623-9178.  View websites at www.parks.ky.gov and www.whitehallclermontfoundation.org.

 

White Hall State Historic Site was the ancestral home of Cassius Marcellus Clay, a 19th century emancipationist, politician, newspaper publisher, and Ambassador to Russia under Abraham Lincoln’s administration. 

 

Today the mansion sits on a 13-acre park.  White Hall offers interactive tours where visitors can experience the Victorian lifestyle and learn the exciting history of the Clay Family as they take a tour guided by docents in historic dress.

 

White Hall State Historic Site is located in Richmond off I-75, exit 95.
