Two Rivers 5K Set For Aug. 5 At General Butler State Resort Park
FRANKFORT, Ky. – The final race in the Kentucky State Park Race Series will be held Saturday, Aug. 5, at General Butler State Resort Park near Carrollton.
The Two Rivers 5K race will start at 9:30 a.m. (ET). Pre-registration through Aug. 4 is $15; on the day of the race registration starts at 8:30 a.m. and the fee is $18. Runners should meet at the park recreation center.
The Two Rivers 5K was originally scheduled for March 11, but was postponed due to poor weather.
A grand prize will be awarded to the male and female runners who enter all five events and earn the most points. Runners who finish all five races will receive a certificate of recognition and be registered for a special drawing.
