Greenbo Lake Hosts Quilt Show
FRANKFORT, Ky. – The art and craft of quilt-making will be showcased at Greenbo Lake State Resort Park near Greenup during a show scheduled for the weekend of April 22-23.
The annual event, co-sponsored by the park and the Greenup County Quilt Guild, will attract entries in a variety of categories, from large bed quilts to miniatures to antiques. Ribbons will be awarded in more than a dozen categories. Special awards will go to the “people’s choice” and “best of show” quilts. Past winners in those categories are invited to display their winning quilts during the show. Also scheduled is a merchant mall.
Registration will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, April 21. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, noon to 4 on Sunday.
