Archery Tournament for Beginners Jan. 2 at E.P. ‘Tom’ State Park
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Beginner archers have an opportunity to test their skills at The Snowflake Shoot at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park in Louisville on Jan. 2, 2015.
Join in on the fun of archery, with this competition for beginners only. There are divisions beginning at ages 7 and up to adults 18 and over. The tournament will be styled after a National Archery in the Schools Program tournament, where competitors shoot from 10 meters and 15 meters several times to get a final score.
Awards will be given out to the top two archers in each division. Early registration is open and runs through Dec. 18. All early registrants are guaranteed an event shirt. Registration ends on Dec. 26 at 4 p.m.
Fees are $15 a person during early registration and $20 a person after Dec. 18. Equipment can be rented for the tournament at the park for $5. The tournament starts at noon.
