Nature Photography Weekend April 24-26 at Cumberland Falls
CORBIN, Ky. – Cumberland Falls State Resort Park will host its Nature Photography Weekend April 24-26.
Nature photography buffs will enjoy this weekend, which features a 24-hour digital competition. Photographers with all skill levels can pick up helpful tips from guest speakers. There will be classes for amateur and accomplished photographers. Plaques will be given in several categories. The cost is $40 per person.
This year’s speakers will be Kendall Chiles and Daniel Dempster. Chiles is a photography instructor at the University of Tennessee and the Smoky Mountain Field School. His photographs have appeared in numerous publications. Dempster has taught many workshops and has led photo tours all over the country. He is well known for his images of horse races and lighthouses.

The park is also offering a 10 percent lodging discount to participants for this event.
Cumberland Falls State Resort Park near Corbin has a lodge, Riverview Restaurant, cottages, hiking trails, fishing, other recreational activities and a great view of Cumberland Falls.
