2 Cleanup Days Scheduled at Cumberland Falls Aug. 22, 29

CORBIN, Ky. – Cumberland Falls State Resort Park will hold two cleanup days this month to pick up trash that has accumulated around the falls due to heavy rains and flooding.


Volunteers are needed Aug. 22 and Aug. 29, starting at 9 a.m. both days. Gloves and garbage bags will be provided. Volunteers should register at the visitor center near the falls and wear appropriate clothing and shoes.

Cumberland Falls State Resort Park has a lodge, Riverview Restaurant, cottages, campground, hiking trails, fishing, horseback riding, rafting, other recreational activities and a great view of Cumberland Falls.
