Some park beaches closed due to low water

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Several beaches at Kentucky State Parks will be closed this Memorial Day holiday weekend due to low water levels.

 

The closed beaches include: Barren River Lake State Resort Park, Nolin Lake, Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park and Rough River Dam State Resort Park.

 

The beaches are expected to be opened when water levels increase.
