Seafood Dinner at Buckhorn Lake Postponed Due to Closed Road
BUCKHORN, Ky. – A seafood buffet scheduled for April 4 at Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park has been postponed due to a rock slide and road closure at the park.
The slide on Tuesday closed KY 1833 in Perry County. Work is underway to clear the slide, but access to the park is closed except for emergencies. The work is expected to take several days.
The park will host the seafood buffet on June 6 from 5-8 p.m. A magic show will be held in conjunction with the dinner.
Buckhorn Lake has a lodge, cottages, restaurant, hiking trails, boating, fishing and other recreational activities. The park is 25 miles northwest of Hazard. For more information, call the park at 1-800-325-0058.
