Big Bone Lick State Historic Site Hosting Ghost Hunts
UNION, Ky. – Join the Tri-State Shadow Chasers for a night of paranormal investigations at Big Bone Lick State Historic Site starting April 25.
Learn about the various facets of “ghost hunting” and become familiar with commonly used tools during the investigation. Your guides will demonstrate digital voice recorders, detectors, and motion sensors, and participants will have an opportunity to use them.
Other dates for this event are June 6, July 25 and Sept. 12.
While on the hunt you will learn about park history, go inside the Big Bone Methodist Church and visit two historic period cemeteries on park grounds. Feel free to bring digital cameras. Registration is required, and space is limited. The deadline for registration is the Thursday before the event. The cost is $20 per person.

Big Bone Lick is an Ice Age showcase and the birthplace of American vertebrate paleontology. It features a museum and visitor’s center, 62-site campground, hiking trails, special events, and seasonal recreational and interpretive programs. The park is located near Union, Kentucky. Take Exit 171 off Interstate 75 and follow signs along Highway 338 approximately 7 miles to the park.
