| Frankfort, KY - (May 17, 2005) - As part of Governor Ernie Fletcher’s vision to provide a safe and reliable transportation system, acting Transportation Secretary Bill Nighbert announces improvements to Eminence Road (KY 22) in Henry County. The roadway will be resurfaced with asphalt from KY 55 S to KY 55 N and from KY 1899 to 0.5 miles north of KY 22 E. Mago Construction Company LLC, of Bardstown, Kentucky was awarded the low bid contract for $168,373. Work is expected to begin in the near future with completion anticipated in September of 2005. Construction activities are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather conditions. -30- |
