Louisville, KY (September 29, 2005) - The District 5 Department of Highways office in Louisville announces  the southbound Interstate 65 ramp to eastbound Interstate 64 will be temporarily closed in downtown Metro Louisville.  This exit ramp, at mile point 136.4, will be temporarily closed from 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29 to 6:00 a.m. Friday, September 30, to allow for bridge deck and barrier wall repair.

The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.  Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed.  Stay alert and minimize distractions.  This is a reminder we must all help reduce the number of highway work zone accidents and fatalities.  Slow Down to Get There!
