Interstate 65 Traffic Advisory
Louisville, KY (September 13, 2005)- The District 5 Department of Highways office announces the temporary closure of the exit ramp from southbound Interstate 65 to eastbound Interstate 64. This ramp closure is scheduled from 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2005 until 2:00 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14 and will allow for bridge deck repairs.
The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed. Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the construction workers and their equipment. This is a reminder we must all help reduce the number of highway work zone accidents and fatalities. Slow Down to Get There!
