KY 53 Traffic Advisory
Louisville, KY (January 12, 2006) - District 5 of theDepartment of Highways announces temporary lane closures on KY 53 in Shelby County, Thursday, January 12, 2006. Delays and lane closures due to pavement repair are possible on KY 53 from 6:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. midnight between the Interstate 64 interchange and KY 2258 (MP 6 - 7). The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed. Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment. This is a reminder we must all help reduce the number of highway work zone accidents and fatalities. Slow Down to Get There! Buckle Up and DRIVE SMART!
