Temporary closure of KY 61 (Preston Highway) in Jefferson County
The Department of Highways District 5 Office announces the temporary closure of KY 61 (Preston Highway) in Jefferson County due to CSX railroad crossing repairs. KY 61 will be closed to thru traffic at the railroad crossing between Oaklawn Drive and Tower Road (mile point 4.9).
This roadway is scheduled for closure from 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3rd until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5th. Local access will be allowed. Through traffic should follow the signed detour via Jefferson Boulevard.
The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
