Temporary ramp closures on I-265 and I-64 in Jefferson County

The Department of Highways District 5 Office announces temporary ramp closures on Interstate 265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) and Interstate 64 as part of the pavement repairs on I-265 and interchange improvements at US 60.  The ramps listed below will be closed from 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20th until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, May 23rd. 

• Exit ramp from northbound Interstate 265 to westbound Interstate 64 (Exit 25B)
• Exit ramp from eastbound Interstate 64 to northbound Interstate 265 (Exit 19B)

For motorists exiting from northbound I-265 to westbound I-64, follow the signed detour via US 60 to southbound I-265 and then access westbound I-64.

For motorists exiting from eastbound I-64 to northbound I-265, follow the signed detour via Blankenbaker Parkway (Exit 17) to US 60 and then access I-265.

Vehicles with loads greater than 12 feet in width will not be permitted on northbound I-265 north of I-64 to US 60 from 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20th until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, May 23rd.   Access will be permitted from northbound I-265 to eastbound I-64.  All other wide loads traveling further north on I-265 must follow the detour via northbound I-65 to eastbound Interstate 264 and then access Interstate 64.
