KY 61 and KY 2051 Traffic Advisory
Louisville, KY (November 14, 2005) - The District 5 Department of Highways office in Louisville announces temporary lane closures in Louisville Metro on Tuesday, November 15, 2005. These lane closures will occur between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and allow for pavement repair. Southbound Rockford Lane (KY 2051) between Graston Avenue (MP .65)and Dixie Highway (MP 0) will be reduced to one lane from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. noon. In addition, the right lane of northbound Preston Highway (KY 61) at Perennial Drive (approximate MP 9.5 north of Locust Lane) will be closed from 12:00 p.m. noon until 3:30 p.m.
Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed. Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment.
