Louisville, KY (November 9, 2005) - The District 5 Department of Highways office in Louisville announces temporary lane closures on I-264 and an exit ramp closure on Interstate 265 in Louisville Metro on Wednesday, November 9, 2005.
The right two lanes of eastbound I-264, the Watterson Expressway, will be closed between Poplar Level Road and Newburg Rd, mile points 13.5 to 14.6, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. to allow for pavement repair. In addition, the I-265 west exit ramp to I-65 south will be closed from 10:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, to allow for pavement repair.
The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed. Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment.
