Temporary lane closures on I-71
Louisville, KY (July 10, 2006) - The Kentucky Department of Highways announces temporary lane closures on Interstate 71 at mile point 1.1 in Jefferson County. Northbound I-71 will be reduced to one lane at this location from 9:00 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2006 until 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2006. Southbound I-71 will be reduced to one lane from 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2006 until 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2006. Work will begin in the right lane both evenings and progress to the left lane. These lane closures will allow for the repair of traffic counting devices.
