Guardrail repairs in Jefferson County April 5 and April 9, 2006
Louisville, KY (April 5, 2006) - The District 5 Department of Highways office in Louisville announces temporary lane closures at the following locations in Jefferson County for Wednesday, April 5 and Sunday, April 9, 2006. These closures will occur between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on April 5 and 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. April 9 to allow for guardrail repair:
Wednesday, April 5, 2006 -
· Eastbound Interstate 64, milepoint 5.4, right and left lane closures
· Northbound Interstate 265 (ramp to Interstate 71), milepoint 134.2, right and left lane closures
Sunday, April 9, 2006 -
· Westbound Interstate 64, milepoints 7 - 8, left lane closure
Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed. Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment.
