Temporary lane closures on I-265 and KY 1447
Louisville, KY (March 28, 2006) - The District 5 Department of Highways office in Louisville announces a temporary lane closures at the following locations from 6:30 pm to 12:00 am to allow for pothole patching:
Interstate 265 (Gene Snyder) northbound and southbound between US 60 (Shelbyville Rd.) (26.79 milepoint) & KY 155 (Taylorsville Rd.) (23.10 milepoint). Both lanes in each direction will be affected.
KY 1447 (Westport Rd.) eastbound and westbound from KY 1932 (Chenoweth Lane) (0 milepoint) to KY 146 (LaGrange Road) (9.24 milepoint). Both lanes in each direction will be affected.
Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed. Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment.
