Louisville, KY (March 3, 2006) - The District 5 Department of Highways office in Louisville announces temporary lane closures at the following locations in Bullitt and Shelby County, Friday, March 3, 2006. These closures will occur between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and allow for guardrail repair:

Bullitt County -

Westbound KY 245 milepoint 1.5, right lane closure

Eastbound KY 245 milepoint 3.5, right lane closure

Shelby County -

Eastbound I 64 milepoint 24.3, left lane closure

Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed. Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment.
