The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet continues the pavement rehabilitation project on I-75 in Whitley County for the week of May 29. Construction will be between Mileposts 0.0 to 5.60. (No work is scheduled for Memorial Day 5-29)
Lane closures will be in effect in the North and Southbound lanes beginning Tuesday, May 30. Hours of operation will be from 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM each day, Tuesday through Thursday. The actual starting date and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
This area is a Double Fine Zone with a reduced speed limit of 55 MPH within the work zone.
This project is expected to remain active through 2006.
