MEDIA ADVISORY
MANCHESTER, KY. ---(May 5, 2008)— The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has scheduled blasting for a project on KY. 11 South in Knox County between milepoints 6 and 7.
Contractor will detonate a blast Tuesday and Wednesday, May 6 and 7, each day, between the hours of 4:00 and 5:00 PM.
Traffic will be stopped for blasting and clean up, approximately 15 minutes each day. Motorists should avoid this area if possible and use alternate routes.
The actual starting date and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR SLOWED/STOPPED TRAFFIC
